Fun in Chinese Reading Course

(Suitable for K1 to P6 Students)

Kindergarten Group (Suitable for K1 to K3 students)
The age of 3-6 is the golden language learning period for children. Language development is an important fundamental skill of kids for future learning. Chinese word recognition courses are designed for pre-school children. The courses cover 4 major areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The content includes:
1. Chinese word recognition
2. Reading strategies
3. Story comprehension
4. Oral and listening training
5. Stroke Order
6. Grammar (sentence structure, use of punctuation, etc.)

The Class was designed with the use of interesting word recognition games and teaching gadgets to assist the child to build a word & vocab library, *to master writing skills, and*at the same time to increase their interest in actively learning Chinese. In addition, class involve different types of articles and stories telling, which improves kids to understand the content and meaning. The course will also gradually allow children to learn and write according to their levels, so as to lay a solid foundation for further education.

Primary Group (Suitable for P1 to P6 students)
The class is a cycle of 6 lessons, and each cycle includes:
1. Chinese character writing
2. Reading comprehension
3. Idiom & story
4. Essay writing
5. Revision
6. On-going assessment

The purpose is to strengthen students' language ability in various fields, improve children's interest in Chinese learning, and at the same time strengthen what they have learnt previously, and improve their grades.

In order to ensure the quality, the class will be conducted in small group.
Duration of each class is an hour.

GAPSK Mandarin Course

(Suitable for K1 to P6 Students)

The program consists of small group classes that help children learn Mandarin with fun and ease. Every class will be taught by experienced instructors that have passed the national P.T.H. proficiency test. Students will be assessed in order to be placed into the appropriate class that meets their specific learning needs.

Toddlers and Kindergarten Group (Suitable for K1-K3 Students)

With an emphasis on improving speaking, reading, and listening abilities, the course utilises thematic teaching, such as situational dialogues, vocabulary learning, and nursery rhymes. The singing and art sessions in class will strengthen children’s memory and make the learning process even more enjoyable. This course will equip students with the ability to fluently express themselves in Mandarin.

PN Foundation Class: 7-9 months
K1 Elementary Class: 7-9 months
K2-K3 Advanced Class: 10-12 months

Primary School Group (Suitable for P1-P6 Students)

This course involves training on written and oral examination, including speaking, listening skills, pinyin spelling, and grammar. Students will master reading and pinyin techniques, as well as become proficient in self-introduction and self-expression. The classes will also strengthen their ability to recognize new characters and vocabulary, improving their overall language skills comprehensively.

P1 Foundation Class: 7-9 months
P1-P3 Elementary Class: 7-9 months
P4-P6 Advanced Class: 10-12 months

Mandarin Chatroom

(Suitable for children from 2 to 5 years old who is new to Mandarin)

Teaching Objectives:

Enhance children's listening and speaking skills in a Mandarin speaking environment
Enhance children's confidence in learning Mandarin with fun stories and activities
Teach children to recognize Mandarin sight words and phrases, and improve communication skills
