UK RWI English Course
(Suitable for K1 to P6 Students)
RWI is the most popular English language course in the UK, with more than 4,000 primary schools using the curriculum. Studies in the UK have shown that students achieve better results in the Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) after completing RWI, demonstrating that Synthetic Phonics can effectively improve children’s English reading and writing abilities.
We have over 10 years of experience in teaching RWI and our teachers are qualified RWI instructors. We will first teach children the 44 pure sounds and the techniques of blending & segmenting, helping them to spell, read, and write new vocabulary accurately and more effortlessly. After 3 months of classes, children will master simple blending and segmenting skills. Then, after establishing the foundation of pure sounds pronunciation, instructors will gradually progress and train their listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities through different engaging activities.
Step 1—Learn Letters & Sounds:
Teach children to read and write the first two sets (about 44) of the original sounds and corresponding letters, and help them lay the foundation for English pronunciation
Step 2—Master the Technique of Blending & Segmenting:
Use the unique teaching method of RWI to assist children’s mastery of the method of blending and segmenting pure sounds
Step 3—Improve Reading and Writing Abilities:
Use Ditty short phrases reading & writing exercises, storybook series, and Get Writing! exercises to improve reading and writing abilities

Discovery English Reading and Writing Course
(Suitable for P1 to P6)

Taking Cambridge Discovery Education Interactive Readers as the syllabus, class topics cover science, world history, humanity, etc.

Each month students receive a small book with a new topic, and classes will include book reading, vocabulary study, worksheets and essay writing.

Students work on monthly themes in a creative way, with listening, speaking, reading, and writing taught by experienced Native English Teachers.

Master the key strategies to read and write better
Reading and writing complement each other. Through reading, children can expand their vocabulary, understand essay structures as well as learn about new subject matters for future writing. On the other hand, the mastery of writing strategies can help them to better comprehend the theme and the content of each piece of writing. Hence, it is vital to systematically teach reading and writing strategies with regards to different genres, in order to improve overall English abilities.

The course exposes children to essays of diverse topics, which not only helps them to accumulate vocabulary, but also consolidates their abilities to apply grammatical knowledge. In addition, reading and analyzing articles of various subjects also help to cultivate children's critical thinking and creativity.
Course Design
The course is divided into 12 levels, and students will be assigned to the appropriate class according to their abilities. Students will be assessed after completing a 3-month-course to help parents keep track of their children’s learning progress. Upon completion of every level (40 classes), a certificate will be awarded.

Cambridge English Qualifications Course
(Suitable for K2 to P6 Students)
The Cambridge English Qualifications Course is a test designed for Hong Kong students with English as a second language, which can effectively improve students' ability to learn and utilise English. The test is divided into three parts: English listening, reading & writing, and oral exam. The course intends to encourage students to practise English through classroom activities, boosting their confidence in English communication, as well as giving a reference of their English abilities to the schools that they apply.
Our course activities, such as English games, stories, and extra-curricular knowledge, will propel students to engage and integrate language into their daily lives.
The course is divided into three levels:
Starters: take their first step towards understanding basic English content on the internet, enjoying books, songs, television and films in English, and making friends globally
Movers: understand basic instructions or take part in simple conversations, understand basic notices, instructions or information, and complete basic forms and write notes, including times, dates and places
Flyers: understand simple written English, communicate in familiar situations, understand and use basic phrases and expressions, and interact with English speakers who talk slowly and clearly
We have co-organized YLE courses with ESF (English Schools Foundation) and are an ESF-accredited teaching and examination school. We have also received the ESF Silver Shield Award. After completing the course, students can take the YLE test at our school, which reduces the stress of taking exams in unfamiliar locations and helps achieve better results.
(After completing the course, the school will apply for the examination on behalf of the student, the tuition does not include the examination fee.)
